Glorious Horses

Thursday the Rices and the Penningtons invited us to their ranch on Push Mountain.  It’s a lovely area.  They saddled their 2 horses and all the kids got a chance to ride them.

Aaron got to chase chickens—and catch a hen.  

 Katie got to visit with a friendly cat. Camden saw Alpacas and goats.   
We didn’t walk out to see the cows, but instead, enjoyed cool lemonade in the house.  Although many stayed in the shade, it was hot and we were tired when we got home.  I lead the horse around outside the round pen and got a bit of a work out that way. 

After lunch Janice, Nathan, Katie, and Aaron’s grandmother, picked them up for an overnight visit.  They went to her house in Missouri and came back Saturday afternoon.
